A Note from Me to You

Greetings & Welcome to my Blog…

I must admit right up front that most of the time I have no idea what I’m doing. That panicky feeling we all get as soon as we start questioning what we are really doing with our lives is pretty much the standard emotion when it comes to me sitting here and doing this!  And so I humbly ask for patience and understanding…

My aim here is a simple one. Almost two years ago I wrote and completed  my first book. From start to finsh it lives in all its unedited roughness. Now you can imagine that returning two years later to a dormant work is actually a mammoth task and one that cannot be considered lightly, so I intend to tackle this task not alone but with the help of anyone interested in having a say. This is a giant leap for me, as my writing has always been a sacred haven in which to retreat, not something that I have ever shared freely or easily. But I feel in my heart that now is the time to do so.

Everything else is just gravy. Pure and simple indulgence in whatever form it happens to take when it takes. My thoughts on things I love…and things I hate perhaps, rubbish poetry that exists only as a pretend way to deal with some things and a way to rage against others. Interpret as you wish. I probably have few answers myself anyway.

Please remember that “Coffee at Little Angels” must be read from the bottom upwards in order for it to make any sort of linear sense!  They are numbered so it’s pretty simple to follow. Also bear in mind that the versions you read here are rather rough and unpolished. Once I’ve posted a chapter I will not return to it – not here at least. It is very likely that the story may evolve behind the scenes and if my book ever becomes published the chapters may not necessarily look the same as they do here. Also…here you will only find the first quarter of the book…the rest will have to be saved for another day as I see no wisdom in giving away the whole thing.

I hope that you will enjoy this journey with me now, and return again in the future as I take on the next project. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas.
